Sport: Track
Best French sprinter in 100 meter, Olympic medalist, champion and record holder in Europe.
Defect: Response time too long at the starting signal.
Consequence: Slow starts. Generally, in the big races, Christine tended top fall behind in the first 30 meters. This translates into a difference of up to 2/10 of a second.
Complex case. The work of starting is very tiring and dangerous to the muscles. We worked in 2 sessions, an initial session then a second session a few weeks later. We worked on the superposition of muscular sensations experienced at the race start out of the blocks.
Results: Maximum gain measured an average 25 milliseconds.
A few weeks later, Christine Arron performs the best start in the final of the World Indoor Championships in Moscow. On her return, she said in an interview on French television: "I am happy because I finally solved my starting problem"
