HOW TO BECOME A LICENSED AND CERTIFIED ACTIVA CONCEPTS TECHNICIAN
If you are interested in becoming a certified Activa technician for the purposes of utilizing this revolutionary new process with clients, students and patients, Activa Concepts offers the following program:
WHO MAY BE INTERESTED: Teachers, instructors, coaches personal trainers, strength and conditioning coaches, physical therapists and doctors. Owners and managers of sports and health clubs may be interested in purchasing a "multiple user" license at their facility, to be utilized by staff members certified in the Activa process.
THE TRAINING PROCEDURE: An initial interview is conducted in order to evaluate your potential to become a trained Activa technician. Once qualified and selected, the program consists of:
- Two days of theoretical training. The study of the neurophysiology of basic movement and motion.
- 10-12 days of practical training. Live application of the Activa process; hands-on treatment of athletes/clients.
Ideally, the two training sessions take place at your place of business, with individuals (athletes, patients, etc.) – many of whom may already be clients of yours – having been selected mutually with the Activa Expert conducting the program. Your facility must be compatible with the requirements necessary (certain conditions apply) for the Activa process.
Upon successful completion of the Activa Concepts certification program:
- You become a licensed Activa Concepts certified technician, able to use the Activa process with clients in your business. Licenses have several different duration and territorial options available.
- You are the recipient of the sound generator used in the Activa process.
- You are eligible for technical and methodology-related assistance for one year.
COST: $15,000 (USD) for a five year individual license.
